Rite Track, a leading manufacturer of track systems for the semiconductor and thin film head industries, today announced the introduction of its exclusive Rite Track Recipe Manager. The system will be shown for the first time at Semicon Europa in Munich, April 4th – 6th.
The Rite Track Recipe Manager (RTRM) is designed to work with all 8X compatible card cages and is easily retrofitable on 86 and 88 Series track systems, as well as the enhanced 88e track system.
Tim Hayden, President of Rite Track said, "The Rite Track Recipe Manager will, for the first time on the 8X series of equipment, allow process people to write and save recipes by a descriptive name rather than just a program number. The programs can be downloaded to the system card cages handled by a computer with Windows™ 95, 98 or NT."
The RTRM plugs into the existing hardware and takes only minutes to install. It removes the barriers that limit the basic card cage to only 9 programs with 9 events. Program storage is now limited only by hard disk space and each program can contain over 70 events. This system brings the already proven card cage system together with the new computer recipe management technology to provide a powerful tool for the end user.
An optional Bar Code Reader and Touch Screen make for even easier operation and reduced program writing and selection errors.
Recipe writing is easy for those people familiar with programming a card cage, and downloading recipes takes only seconds.
