History - View our Timeline

The history of Rite Track has closely followed the evolution of the used equipment market. Rite Track was founded in 1993 with the express purpose of providing high quality rebuilds of the SVG 8X series track product line. Rite Track was very likely one of the first companies that was started with the full knowledge and support of the OEM.

One of Rite Track’s early customers was SVG, beginning a long relationship that sometimes resembled a good marriage, and sometimes resembled a messy divorce. Rite Track remained a remanufacturer until 2002. In quick succession, ASML purchased SVG, and in 2003 ASML sold the 8X and 9X track IP to Rite Track.

Rite Track is THE OEM for the 8X and 9X products and is the owner of all 8X/9X IP.

Later that same year Rite Track signed an agreement with TEL to supply used TEL Clean Track Mark Vz and 7/8 systems and support to the North American market. This agreement was later extended to include Europe and parts of Asia.

Rite Track is the authorized supplier of TEL Clean Track Mark Series systems to Europe and the Americas. Rite Track supplies the 8X as new or remanufactured, the 9X as remanufactured, and its own design 88e as new. With this product mix Rite Track offers the broadest range of track equipment in the industry, with the ability to process substrates from 50 mm square to 200 mm round, and from the very fragile to the robust.

Along with growth comes added responsibility to the customer. Rite Track has established logistics centers in Asia and Europe, with additional sales and service offices worldwide. Rite Track has achieved both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. The need for customer equipment maintenance training has likewise grown. Training is done in our state-of-the-art training facility in West Chester, Ohio on all Rite Track supplied products.

As with any other legitimate equipment supplier, Rite Track provides a Software License with each system sold. Rite Track is licensed by TEL to offer legal software licenses for the CLEAN TRACK MARK Series tracks and is the only company to offer software licenses for the 8X and 9X products. The software license not only protects the rights of the customer to use the equipment, but also enables better service and spare parts support after installation.

Exclusive innovations on the 8X, 9X and the TEL CLEAN TRACK Mark products mean that this “used” equipment has capabilities far beyond the original design function. Indeed, Rite Track has extended the useful lifetime of this equipment by several years. The original 86 Series was designed in 1984, but with the addition of true host networking capability and hundreds of other improvements over the years, this product is still a strong contender in the market.

Rite Track’s growth has closely paralleled the growth of the used equipment industry, we like to think that we are one of many quality suppliers responsible for that growth.
