Rite Track Announces Acquisition of SVG Track Product Lines from ASML

July 2, 2003 - Rite Track, a leading manufacturer of track systems for the semiconductor, MEMS and thin film head industries, today announced the purchase of the SVG 8X and 9X product lines from ASML. This acquisition makes Rite Track one of the industry’s largest track suppliers.

Rite Track’s agreement with ASML includes the intellectual property rights for the SVG 8X and 9X product lines, giving Rite Track the ability to provide new and remanufactured 8x and 9x products, spare parts, and service support to the industry. As a part of this agreement Rite Track will also assume support of existing ASML track contracts. No financial details are being released.

Tim Hayden, Rite Track President said, "We are very excited about this product acquisition from ASML and the business opportunity that it provides us. This unique agreement is a culmination of efforts between Rite Track and ASML. It allows us to supply new as well as remanufactured SVG 8X and 9X products and support, which is a significant extension of the core business on which we base our success. Our established worldwide support network ensures a seamless transition for service and parts support that should be transparent to the customer.”

“ASML is pleased to have reached this mutually beneficial sales agreement with Rite Track. We are confident that customers of the track products will be assured long-term support and benefit from the relationships forged between ASML and Rite Track,” said Doug Dunn, ASML President and CEO.
